What Is Thermofield Therapy?

Thermofield is an advanced, noninvasive technology that delivers therapeutic heat deep into muscle and tissue without surgery or harsh side effects. Unlike a heating pad that only warms the surface, Thermofield uses electromagnetic energy to deliver gentle heat deep into the tissues — improving circulation, supporting healthy cellular activity, and enhancing the body’s natural healing response.

Why It’s Different

Surface heat soothes. Deep heat heals.

Thermofield reaches the muscles, joints, and connective tissue where chronic pain, inflammation, and slow healing actually live — and works alongside the body, not against it.

What It Supports

Each session works on multiple systems at once — circulation, immunity, and the nervous system’s pain response.

01

Better circulation

More oxygen and nutrients delivered to the tissues that need to repair.

02

Immune activation

Supports the body’s response to inflammation, illness, and chronic stress.

03

Pain reduction

Calms pain-signaling nerves while activating the ones that promote comfort.

Who It’s For

Thermofield is used as part of integrative care plans for both acute and chronic conditions. Some of the areas where it shows the most benefit:

Cancer care support Chronic pain Inflammatory conditions Injury recovery Neurological conditions Circulation issues Pelvic health Skin & tissue regeneration

Cancer Care Applications

Thermofield is one of the few therapies that can deliver controlled, deep heat directly to tumor tissue — a clinical approach known as targeted hyperthermia.

When used as part of an integrative cancer care plan, Thermofield can be combined with conventional chemotherapy or radiation to enhance their effects. Research suggests heated tumor tissue can become more responsive to both treatments, while circulation and immune activity in the surrounding area are also supported.

Integrative Oncology

Used alongside chemo & radiation.

We work with patients and their oncology teams to incorporate Thermofield into existing treatment plans — never as a replacement, always as a complement. Sessions are timed and dosed to support, not interfere with, your primary care.

Pelvic Floor Support

Pelvic floor dysfunction is fundamentally a connective tissue issue — weakened collagen, broken-down elastin, and tight or scarred fascia. Thermofield’s deep, controlled heat reaches exactly those layers.

By stimulating circulation and supporting collagen remodeling in the pelvic floor, Thermofield can complement pelvic floor physical therapy and other integrative treatments for prolapse support, postpartum recovery, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis-related pain, scar tissue, and bladder or urinary concerns.

Pelvic Health

Gentle support for sensitive tissue.

Thermofield treatments are external, noninvasive, and tailored to your comfort. We often pair them with pelvic floor PT, nutritional support, and other modalities so the tissue gets every signal it needs to repair — without anything invasive.

What To Expect

Sessions are noninvasive and comfortable. Your provider will tailor frequency and placement based on your goals and the rest of your treatment plan.

Consultation

We review your history, goals, and how Thermofield fits with the rest of your care.

Your session

You’ll rest comfortably while gentle deep heat is delivered to the targeted area.
